Gov. Mark Dayton appointed Thomas Haluska as Judge of the Minnesota Tax Court.
The appointment fills out the court’s bench after many months of operating with two judges.
Haulska currently serves as an Assistant Anoka County Attorney in the Civil Division, where he acts as the primary council for real estate tax appeals and represents the County in torts litigation, labor relations, and contract disputes. Haluska has been with the County Attorney’s Office since 1979. Additionally Haluska served in the United States Navy. He received his B.A. and J.D. from the University of Minnesota.
