U.S. Seeks to Overturn Ruling on Contraceptives

The U.S. government has asked Eastern District of New York Judge Edward Korman to halt the implementation of his closely watched order lifting all age and prescription requirements on the so-called "morning-after" pill as it appeals the ruling. Early last month, Korman ordered the lifting of restrictions on emergency contraceptives within 30 days.
