Prompt pay law heads to court as doctors, insurers prep for fight
In 2011, Georgia's doctors won passage of a state law they had sought for years: an extension of rules requiring quick processing of insurance claims. But the doctors were warned that the law might lead to a court showdown -- and that day has come.
